I Agree, but have learned a lot about American cars from here and car iq on facebook, it's all about cars for me, feeding the brain and all, i live in Oz but came from England and have learned to appreciate Aussie cars i new nothing about, same thing i guess.

So...you think that we Americans get to look and respond strictly to vehicles made in the USA? Here's a newsflash for you; that isn't the way this site works. Just from reading various posts from all over the world, the type of car depends upon YOUR location. In America, most of the cars featured are Europeans, Exotics and a very small percentage of American vehicles we'd be familiar with. It seems that you're presented with a majority of unfamiliar vehicle regardless of where you're from. So, your frustration isn't unique to your location; it's universal to EVERYONE that participates on the site.

I disagree with your coment. Living in NZ we get see cars from all over the world. My sugestion was to reduce the majority of cars used being american .

I don't care if you disagree with my comment. That makes about as much sense as ME stating your comment is WRONG! You see, for me to have an opinion about YOUR COMMENT that made SENSE; I'd need to live in NEW ZELAND instead of America!...DUUUH! Additionally, to disagree with my comment and MAKE SENSE, you'd need to be in America FIRST!..Another DUUUUH! Did you even read what I wrote? Further more, did you comprehend it? Apparently you didn't. I'll rephrase it for you. EVERYONE has the same gripe that you do. Americans see too many Europeans and Exotics in lieu of familiar vehicles. It's the same with anyone from Europe, Asia and yes, New Zeland; EVERYONE sees a lot of unfamiliar cars just. IT AIN'T GONNA CHANGE so get over it already.

Almost forgot something "kinda pertinent." There is an automobile company in your area named "Holden" if I'm not mistaken? Before you bash "Yank Tanks," Holden answers to General Motors right here in Detroit, Michigan USA. You really need to do better homework before opening your mouth.

all cars / trucks / anything mechanical have theyre flaws, all that we can hope for is to learn them and try to improve that part of the vehicle, i believe that all cars and trucks alike are interesting, we should not trash talk on one another but try to educate and try to get the opinion from each other and educate one another, of course there will be disagreements but thats because everyone has had theyre own personal experience with whatever vehicle they have owned / used / or fantasized about.... for me personally i have always liked chevy's because i have awesome luck with them and being a mechanic even though im only 17, working in the business for about 7 years now, theyre is a good reliability factor with them, for what i have seen.. i see from your post logan that you have had good luck with range rovers

Holden is its own company in Australia doing what it wants. The commodore range, except for the now defunct manaro is a Ozzy new zealand market car only, designed and built solely in oz. Show me 1 ozy designed & built car in America.

Then why are the big three car companies going broke and the japa's are sh*ting all over them?

35

Im not trashing US spec cars, my original coment was to the game/quiz makers to make the game/quiz more world based rather than US market based.

Sad news for ya there Bevan.... They're Not... The Japs are in just as much an economic slump as the rest of the world... they just know how to cover it up better...

Holden hasn't been it's own company since 1931 and works on behalf of GM and shares both platforms and designs.

They are ALL losing money atm. The Big three have labor unions and much more overhead that cost them money regardless if product is being made or sold. A line shuts down they still have to pay the employees for years or give them a 'fair' buyout. You gotta remember they've been on top for the better part of a century and they are structured as such. Corporate restructuring takes time and money something not readily available in a market where large corporate loans are becoming things of myth.

Another big DUUUUHHHH!...you genuinely don't know how to read do you? Before Holden can go to the restroom to take a leak, they 1st have to get approval from Detroit.

Sorry you misunderstood the intent of my posting...I'll remove it to avoid further confusion.

i would actually like to know the intent of your posting if you wouldnt mind explaining it to me.. thank you

I posted it in error. It should have been posted under whats the best 4WD vehicle which appeared some time ago. I must have clicked on the wrong question. Thus, I erased it. For the record, I have no preference for any 4WD vehicles; simply not my thing. I based the answer upon 20 years of military service; much of it tactical, NATO and Multi-National. I got to see a LOT of MILSPEC vehicles in action.

ohh, that makes plenty of sense now... i havent really seen many as i dont travel much because im still working to make my car trip worthy and am only 17 :P hahaha

Almost forgot again; The Holden Monaro came to the United States as the Pontiac GTO from 2004-2007. That was because their boss in DETROIT made the decision to do so, Is that also a "YANK TANK?"

Adam, I thinks it's apparent that Brevan Paul isn't very bright.
