why use nitrogen in tires?

2 Answers

the claim of using nitrogen is that its more stable aka doesnt expand as much with changes in temperature. there's also the argument that it's lighter. personally???? air is 79.1% nitrogen.... so i fill my tires with normal air... when race teams start using nitrogen or some other gas in their tires... then i'll consider it. but for now i'll just use air.

theres water in air not in nitrogen
