Best way to remove a broken hardened stud   out of an aluminum head?

1 Answer

The best way would be to spend a week and drill that mother out it will go slow. You can try a easy out drill bit or other bolt extractors, they work about half the time. The fastest way to go would be to welt a square rod to it and wrench it out just try not to mess up your threads. No matter how you get it out you should chase the threads with a tap before you throw a new bolt in.
