y do they put goveners in them like whats the point y not just make it go slower then hide half the power

Governors are used for a lot of different reasons. Delivery companies put governors on vehicles to limit their speed. I'm sure auto makers have a good reasons for doing this. Most likely SAFETY!

well why wouldednt they just make smaller engins?


They don't limit power as much as they limit top speed and rpm's... Prevent excessive speed and engine damage... I thought it was obvious...
