to a 2006 4l60 will it work
what do I need to have to
change on it

It won't work,totally incompatible with the 1999 electronic system and wiring. You need a numbers matching transmission or have the stock unit rebuilt.

Don't go cheap on a rebuild either go pro , There were many variety of trannys in those , some good some not so good .
