Will a L460 work in 94 gmc serra

Do I need to just install TV cable bracket what do I
do about the plug differences

The 4L60 is an electronic transmission so the factory system is electronically incompatible. However if you have deep pockets you can get a stand alone transmission controller and make it work with that.

The l460e is the electronic transmissions version.... the l460 up shifts with a TV cable unlike l460e.... I'm trying to see how easy it would to go back to l460 Instead of l460e

As your deviating from a stock system I suggest you try a hot rod shop or maybe a performance transmission shop.

Anything newer than a 94 model transmission won't work. 1995 could be either OBD I or OBD II. 1996 and newer is OBD II. OBD I and II are completely different computer systems that are not compatible with each other at all. Jim
