# of car owners is wrong

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

I am selling a used vehicle and bought it new.  Car Gurus lists my car as having
two other owners.  I think when I bought the car from a dealer someone else
may have purchased the vehicle and returned it after about 500 miles.  How
can I fix this?

Sounds like you bought the vehicle used. Once the vehicle is titled that person is owner number one. If they return it and then you buy it you are owner number two and the vehicle is used. The same is true if the vehicle was a demonstrator model. Hope that helps! Jim
