03 f150 4.6ltr cranks but want start.

have a 03 f150 4.6ltr cranks but want start.
checked fuel lines ,couldn't hear pump turn
on. Had a little fuel come out of injection port
like a trickle. Fuses and electrical good.
Changed fuel filter and installed new pump.
Turned over and it did try to fire up .But went
back to just turning.even sprayed starter fluid
still wouldn't fire. Help please .Do not know
where to go from here.

Make sure the fuel pump has a ground , test the ground with a multimeter , If you have coil over plugs/ignition test for power/signal test for spark , Something may have gone wrong at the same time by coincidence
