2003 montero sports 100amps batt fuse

My 2003 Montero sport, keep blowing the 100amps batt. fuse when you turn on
the ign, switch. At one time the AAA  personel whos changing the battery
reverse the connection. After that it wont start & keep on blowing the 100amps
battery fuse

Make sure the battery is correctly connected and still not reversed polarity. If that checks good then electrically disconnect the alternator and replace the fuse and turn on the ignition, if the fuse doesn’t blow then the alternator is shorted internally and needs replaced.
