Rear defroster not working

I have a Pontiac Grand Am V6 3.4 l engine my issue
was this my rear defroster does not work worked fine
last year check both the fuse and relay they work fine
I've checked the lines and it does say that there's a
problem here's the thing I did some interior spray work
and I noticed from the top to the bottom on the driver
side there is severe overspray could this have affected
the rear defogger?

The grid is very delicate, I’ve seen scotch tape damage it so it is very likely that it has been damaged.

To fix it right yes. There was a product called grid paint that was used to repair a crack in the grid but it was for small damage so it might not work if the damage is large.
