O5 Durango 4.7 into a 08 ram 1500

Okay I understand there is a difference in the cams that
causes the computer to be different. My question is what if
I switch the cam and all other components. My 08 broke a
timing chain so basically I have everything but short block
and heads.

If it broke the timing chain chances are high it did valve and or piston damage. You might be better off replacing the engine with a used HO engine.
