2017 chevy tahoe won't drive forward

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2017 tahoe out of nowhere stopped wanting to drive. It
will only go on reverse. So I left the truck running for a few
minutes and tried again to put on drive and It
worked...took the kids to school. Got to a stop sign and it
would not wanna go no more. Put it on reverse again and
back on drive and it went.
No light is on the dash what could it be?

What does the fluid look like? If it’s dark then the transmission is on its way out. If it’s still nice a bright the you may have shift solenoids messing up and needing replacement. Have a good transmission shop check it out ASAP.
