2007 Kia Sorento. Strange thumping

I have a 2007 Kia sorento. Recently it started making a loud
thumping noise while driving. It doesn't start doing it right
away. Sometimes you have to drive for a few but once it
starts it's pretty constant. I've taken it to 2 shops. The first
has a guess of what it could possibly be but is no where
near positive. The second was a transmission shop who
said it has nothing to do with the transmission or drive
train. Has anyone ever had this issue or any thoughts on
what could cause this???

Not enough info to make anything but a guess but I think it will probably be part of something in the suspension. Have a someone with suspension expertise look at it.
