Question type: Maintenance & Repair

CAMRY - LE. When I turn on the A/C or Heater then is a 45-60 second delay
before the unit works.  Then, the defroster and center vents do not have any air
passing through when those specific controls are activated.

Found out the error was the Air Outlet Damper Control Servo Motor Circuit, code: B1443. Parts and labor on this repair is $4495 at a Greater St. Louis Toyota dealership. The labor estimate is at $145/hr. Looking through other forums on the web I have noticed this issue is not that uncommon. I have called Toyota and have not heard any feedback yet. The car is only three years old and did not expect to be paying for such large repairs this early. The part is estimated at over $2K which is pretty crazy. The Japanese are know for great motor technology especially in micro-motors and servo motors.
