High mileage 2014 Silverado

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

thinking about buying a 2014 silverado with 250,000 miles on it, majority highway miles. Sounds like they want around $4000.  Good buy?  What should i plan to replace? Any input would be great.

Can you afford to lose 4 grand on a big gamble? Are you expecting to get another 5,000 miles out of it or another 50,000?

The automatic transmission and camshaft are problem areas. Personally I wouldn't buy it! Hope that helps! Jim
