Question type: Maintenance & Repair

While driving and pulling a trailer my 99 suburban
1500 started cutting out. I'd push on the gas and
the RPMs dropped and started making a popping
noise and then it died. While coasting I put it in
nutral and it fired back up. Air filter is under a year
old and all vacuum lines seem to be in place. Any
ideas

When was your last complete tune up? Ignition systems will often break down under load when a tune up is needed. Check your ignition coil too. Hope that helps! Jim
