Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

In the movie Creed (2015), Donny bets his car in a fight. Would that work in real life if you lose? Wouldn't the title need to be transferred? Insurance? Etc...This never made sense to me!

Obviously a car is no good without the title. Do you actually expect movies to be realistic?
