Can I put an engine from a 2016 ford focus into a 2002 ford focus

I have a 2002 Ford Focus,  and I have another Focus as
well but its a 2016. So my question is this;  is it possible to
use the engine from the  '16 in the '02?

1999 to 2007 model years for your 2002. Stick with the same size engine that came with the vehicle, or just drive your 2016.
