Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hey guys.  I am dealing with a local auto parts
store.  With out naming names. OH OH OH
Oh crap. What can I do if the kid gives me the
wrong 40 dollar Transmission solenoid. And I
didn’t know until after I spent a day changing
it.  And after installing in my truck would not
shift at all. So I went back to the parts house,
that’s when I figured out it was wrong.  So
now I’m wondering if my tranny or 1000 $
converter may have been damaged Whst can
I do.,?? And has anyone had any success in
getting sonething done?? Thanks

Right the part store is not liable for any damage you do to your own vehicle. Read the fine print on their website. They will take back the incorrect part. Hope for the best here.
