Bill of sale lost and title wasn't transferred.

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

I sold a vehicle last year, received a parking ticket
in the mail for tha vehicle. The title was never
transferred, and I recently moved and have
apparently lost (or possibly) thrown out the bill of
sale. How can I go about getting the title out of my
name  or what else are my options? In Minnesota.
I've contacted the DMV, the county, and the state
and no one seems to know what I can do.

Call your DMV and tell them you no longer own the vehicle. There should have been a notice of sale that you turned into them when you sold it.

Your Answer:

Sell Your Car Yourself
