Ram Axle Interchange

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2000 4x4 Dodge Ram 1500. It's lifted with 38's.
Currently has stock axles, and I believe the 3.55 gears. My
question is, I wanna meat it up just enough to comfortably
handle light play and keep gas mileage close to factory as
possible, as I still drive roads daily. I'm leaning toward 4.56
gears....what are all vehicles can I look for when searching
around, that axles will bolt up or can use for my swap? Or
just the gearing from another to my old!??
