VSC LIGHT AND ENGINE LIGHT

Asked by Aug 22, 2019 at 02:42 PM

Question type: General

I took my 2007 es 350 Lexus to my trusted
auto repair place for an oil change upon
picking it up my VSC and engine light came
on!!! Can an oil change have any possibility
of causing this!?! I purchased a new gas cap
as that took care of the problem before! No
such luck!! I took the car back and they
diagnosed that I needed a NEW ignition coil..
I replaced it!! After picking up the car they
told me I should only use premium fuel and
that would take care of the fluttering which
was never happening before... a mis fire once
in awhile on different cylinders!! HELP!!! Do I
need to go to the dealer for a calibration or
something!?!?! I am very sensitive to my car
and it was running much smoother before the
oil change etc
