Question type: General

Hey there, my chevy Silverado seems to be show a
decrease in oil pressure the warmer the engine gets.
Acceleration brings it up some but only to about the 20 psi
range. Am I correct in thinking the oil pump my be getting
beat down?

Oil thins out as it warms up. You could try a heavier weight oil but your engine may be worn. Try cleaning the little screen between the engine and the oil sensor. You can also try a mechanical oil pressure gauge to see if your gauge is accurate.
