1991 honda civic hatch back base model and vehicle will not turn over or start and starter ok and battery ok and fuel pump ok
alternator. ur alternator is used to run ur car but ur car battery is used to start ur car. once the car is started...the battery goes back to sleep & runs off the alternator. if the alternator is bad...it wont even wanna turn over like ud hear if it was a bad battery. knowing the fuel pump is ok...not wanting to even try to turn over...its def not the fuel filter. the bad results of that is it'll run like crap. not even wanting to try to turn over...in order to start a car...u need 2 things...spark & fuel. id also replace the spark plugs & spark plug wires. DO NOT DO NOT take off all the spark plug wires at the same time. REPLACE EM 1 AT A TIME. u need the right spark plug hooked up to the right connection on the distributor cap or it'll mis-fire & wont start of will run like shit. since ur fuel isnt ur problem...not wanting to turn over or even try to...it could be many things but only a few most likely culprits like those listed above. u could also have a bad ignition switch. u know the vehicles history??? did u just recenly buy it??? how longs it been sittin if u just bought it??? u have records of the main repairs & preventative main???
