gooooooooooood chance its the alternator. the battery is used to start the vehicle. once the vehicle is started...the battery goes back to sleep & the the runs mainly off the alternator. if ur alternator is bad...it'll just give out all of the sudden. but if the battery is bad...u can run for 1,000,000 miles on a bad battery as long as its started. if the battery is bad or is faulty...it could drain the alternator. once ur alternator is bad...its bad. u can go to a checker auto parts now known as O'Reilly auto parts or auto zone & have ur alternator tested for free. ur alternator is the brain & what keps ur car goin. the battery pumps the lifeblood or juice to that brain. if it cuts off all of the sudden...just like that...im guessin its the alternator. im 90% sure.

if u have a bad battery......dont keep jump starting it. that'll drain & fry the alternator. im guessin ur battery is shot too. they both work hand in hand like conjoined twins.

can be distributor as well had that happen to me on my 92 integra

I changed battery, alternator, and fuse, and still my car 1996 Honda Civic Coupe dies What it could be the problem?

it could be a thousand things. more info is needed in detail to give u a good answer why. how long does it run b4 it dies??? how does it die??? spark & fuel is whats needed to keep a car running. from the sound of it...what does it sound like when it dies. how well does it start up??? how often does it do it??? when was the last time u did a fuel injection cleaning??? based offa what u said...it could be the spark plugs...spark plug wires...bad fuel injector...fuel filter...etc.
