Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Jonathan answered about a minute ago
I am looking at the 2009 Acadia sle-1 front wheel drive(I live in buffalo ny, so how is it in the snow) for $18,000 with
67,000. It is a preauction used car . Has been on lot for a while and my concerns are why would nobody be jumping
on what sounds like a steal of a deal. Carfax is great . Needs tires, breaks, AC recharge ,tires show signs of a
needed alignment at some point. About $1300 to be perfect , dealer will do all work before I buy. IS THIS TO GOOD
TO BE TRUE??????

$18000 is about avg. for trade in value. My guess is the dealer got it for a lot less and is willing to make almost nothing to sell to you. Because once it goes to the auction, they can get far less. If you are concerned, have a 3rd party mechanic look over the vehicle for you.
