Question type: Maintenance & Repair

my transmission is making a very loud squeal. What would make that noise? It
is running ok, just loud when braking.

1 Answer

Transmissions usually don't make odd noises when braking. I would look to a brake pad that is worn down or possibly the serpentine belt.
