Why is my car stalling at the stop but starts after a few minutes of sitting then stall again

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

97 E320 Mercedes only has 104,000 orig.mi. and experience stalling at a stop.  If the car sits for a few minutes it will start again but only for a few minutes...enough to get it out of the middle of the road. The battery is less than a year old and it has plenty of gas.  Other than that I stumped.  Bought a code reader and nothing shows up.

You might have to get the codes read by Mercedes. Not all codes can be read from the reader you bought.

Yeah, stalling is still an issue so getting it there would be also.
