I have a 2007 Silverado short bed. Can I change the bed size to 8ft? Are the frames the same?

Frame width maybe, frame length no, and so I don't think the wheel-wells will line up, plus there would be no support for the back of the box. So no.

Won't work as the wheelbase is different.
