Can't find out which part this is!

Asked by Jan 26, 2012 at 01:39 PM about the Audi 100

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1994 Audi 100 that is leaking at the bottom of the expansion tank. I have looked everywhere trying to find out what part it is and if I can replace it myself, but I can't find any schematics for it. It is not from the hose but from the electrical looking plug. Can you please help me figure out which part this is?

That will be your coolant level sensor. It can not be removed from the expansion tank, they are replaced as a complete unit.
