I bought my husband a 2011 Dodge 6,7 Cummins
turbo diesel and the engine has a cracked head
wanting to know if a 2003 Cummins engine fit in
the 2011 and hook up correctly
I seriously doubt that the heads would interchange. The 2003 is a generation 3 engine and the 2011 is a gen 4. As far as engines it is a mistake to install an old engine in a smog controlled vehicle. The truck would probably never pass smog inspection with the old engine.
Ford should use Cummins engines - the ultimate diesel pickup in my opinion.
And WHY did you buy a broken car?
Thank you all for your answers they were helpful.... The truck wasn't broken when I bought it
