What could be wrong?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2012 Dodge Ram with 50,000 miles. Temp got high, no steam, smelled like
antifreeze inside cab. Heater works fine no fog or mist inside. No coolant on
floormats,or sign of leaking in driveway.

smell of antifreeze indicates a leak somewhere. If the coolant level is low due to the leak, the temp will get high and eventually overheat. Look around for the leak. Could be small and evaporating on the exhaust, just enough for the vent to bring it into the cabin. You can perform a pressure test to find it faster.
