So do you supect the catalyst in the convertors is loose and breaking up? I'd replace the convertors vs running without. If your state or area checks for emissions you will need them to pass inspection. Depending on how old you truck is, you didn't specify year, and or miles, it might be covered under warranty. Call your local Dodge Dealer.
