1994 ram 1500 idles rough up and down

when just sitting it goes up and down to almost stalling

Clean your throttle body and Idle control valve, they are probaly full or carbon. remove the air filter hose from the top of the intake, that is your throttle body. get some throttle body cleaner from any auto parts store and spray tll it's clean. If it still idles bad, you might have a vacuum leak. Check all the hoses and listen for hissing while the engine is running.

forget the throttle control for now either stuck open or closed ,up or down yours is flucterating,yea may be vac leak,,, stick an old peice of rad hose in your ear and listen for the hiss or ck. temp sensor, the one for TCV it may have crud on the portion in the coolent chamber or about wore out
