Dashboard lights on after gooseneck install

Asked by Jun 07, 2011 at 06:16 PM about the Dodge Ram 1500

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Had gooseneck installed today.  (1500 5.7 hemi)  Now my ABS, pkg brake, traction control, check 4wd lights are on and cruise control won't work.  I know the wires need to be moved but don't see anything apparent.  Do all these work off same plug that may be out?  Thanks.

i dont know why any one would use a 1500 to haul loads requiring a 5th wheel trailer, but i digress. any who its highly probable that this is all coincidental in nature judging the apparent use of the truck. seeing as no wires for that sort of thing go back were the gooseneck was installed id get a diagnostic run on the truck that will 100% determine weather or not its an actual issue with parts on the truck or if its some how a pinched wire, only thing wire wise i could think of that would cause all those lights to be on is maybe a ground that got unbolted thats a long shot though.
