Most AC problems are pressure related due to a leak in the system. Grab an AC pressure tester from harbor freight and test the system pressure. If its low you can recharge, but this is not a permanent fix. This is a leak somewhere, and it must be repaired. Usually leak points are compressor to hose o-rings and the high and low pressure service ports.
