what causes 2002 dodge neon my air intake hose to collapse

2002 dodge neon air intake hose hose collapses and gets a hole from
vacumn replace twice happened again help ?is it my iac valve ,or my map
sensor ?

is the air filter clean ? could be some obstruction before air filter box . check air intake pipe before air filter box.

No obstruction into air filter intake , and yes need new hose again as i already replace ,and this hose lasted a month and got hole in hose again . So i was wondering if my IAC or MAS has anything to do with it, as the air intake hose collapses when at idle as i was inspecting with hood open in yard i also cleaned iac valve so might help just gonna order new hose again .
I am having the same problem right now. I am going on my fourth air intake boot and they have only been lasting about a week but I drive for Uber and use the car a lot. My mechanic seems to think my motor mounts are causing the hole because they need to be replaced but sice the boot is made to move I find that doubtful. I don't think it's going to work. We put a new air filter in already and one new motor mount.
I’m having the same problem and am on my 3rd new hose in 12 months. There is no obvious evidence of worn/broken motor mounts. I’m wondering if I keep buying cheap hoses? Maybe I need to find a better quality replacement part?
