Question type: Maintenance & Repair

If you own a 2005-2006 Magnum, Charger, or 300, Chrysler will replace your gas tank under warranty. Don't wait for Chrysler to notify you, they have been very slow to respond to this issue. You should get it done. Signs of trouble are rough running and stalling after a fill up. The problem can persist for a few minutes or more than an hour, and can be very dangerous. The engine will stall unexpectedly even at high speeds. The problem will not get worse once it starts, but the only solution is to replace the tank. Tell your dealer that your car stalls after filling the tank no matter what gas station you use, and you want it fixed under warranty.  http://sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com/2014/05/06/owners-of-more-than-150000-chryslers-warned-that-their-cars-could-suddenly-stall/

See also the NHTSA report for more specifics. You may need to show this to your Dealer as there are still a large number who don't know about this very dangerous issue. http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/problems/defect/results.cfm?action_number=PE13016&SearchType=QuickSearch&summary=true
