My husband has a 2006 town and country chrysler van itwont start

The van was running fine and he went to a store
and came back and it wouldn't start. It sounds like
it wants to but won't.
What can it be?
We were told it may of jumped time.

We don't have the spec's to check if the number 1spark plug is lined up, to see if it is in time.
