My truck keeps spitting gas out the top of the carborator.

Each time I start it, the carborator starts spitting
out fuel. The year is a 1993.

Is this a throttle body to carb conversion including the whole engine conversion, or better said did you mean throttle body or is it a carb? If so and you still have the factory pump set up you have too much fuel pressure. 6-8psi is enough anything higher then that can easily blow past the needle and seat and over fill the bowls or your needle and seat need to be cleaned. Or an ignition problem. What ignition is on it? May be backfiring or trying too.

Well whats the deal with the set up questions above? In 93 none had carbs on them. I need to know if you have converted it or not. Is it still a throttle body car?

I tell you what have your fuel pressure tested and find out what the numbers are and what the engine set up is and come back with those answers, otherwise its just shooting in the dark.

If pressure is too high for a carb and you have a fuel pump in the tank designed for the throttle body fuel injection then you need a high dollar fuel regulator to get down to under 10psi and adjust the fuel pressure at carb going in down to 6-8psi or change out the fuel pump for a frame rail designed pump for carb's with a fuel regulator for a carb if yours is indeed a carb.

If this is a stock set up for 1993 and you changed out he intake for a carb and intake for carb, do away with the fuel return line by frame rail fuel pump design or use adjustable fuel regulator with provisions for no return line(without), then you also need a distributor for non computerized. Bronze cam gear, independent trans module. But like said above if its actually a throttle body and not a carb then this all for knot and you have other issues.
