Truck wont stay on

It starts good but wen u put in gear it turns off.
Changed sparkplugs.. And it sounds like it getting
air. 93 Chevy Silverado v8 5.7

You would have to check for vacuum leaks, check the TBI base gasket, snug up the intake manifold bolts, possible EGR Valve is dirty or stuck open, or low fuel pressure which would need to be checked. You would want to change the fuel filter first.
