New Tire Rub

Asked by Oct 13, 2016 at 09:35 PM about the Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2001 silverado 1500 4x4 ext. Cab 4.8l
I have a 2.5 inch level kit installed and have had
bfg ko tires (275 70 18) and after market rims on
for a year with good clearance. Within the last two
weeks I have lost clearance on the front tires.
Driver side is rubbing on the rear when the tire is
fully turned left.
I have brand new a arms ball joints tie rods and
shocks and it was aligned about two mon the ago.
Axel is good steering components all seem good
and wheel bearings are good. Tires and rims also
in good shape. What could all of a sudden cause
rubbing like that? Even brought it to a mechanic
and they couldn't find any reason for it.
