I have a 1986 chevy silverado and the driver side top head light keeps blowing the high beam part of the light and its just that one head light doing it Ive put 2 new head light in and in a couple day
Sounds like you may need to check the ground at that bulb.
Check the voltage at the headlight socket. If it's over 14 volts DC it's excessive. If it's just that 1 bulb socket (take voltage readings at both headlight sockets) it's most likely a bad ground (-) connection. HTH. -Jim
Bad ground, check the harness and pigtail for corossion.
