why does my heat not blow hot air until i start driving

Asked by Jan 14, 2015 at 10:37 AM about the Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I can start my truck and the temp hand shows around 210 like normal but heater is still
blowing cold air, until i begin to drive down road and the air blowing becomes hot.
