Look on the driver side door post it will be on a small placard. You can also look in the owner manual.

It won't be fun. Be really careful. Get equalizing hitch w/anti-sway. I used a Dodge 1 ton power wagon for a 32 footer. remember, you load them with everything, too. Balance the load carefully. Start out driving carefully about 45 mph on a few test drives. A friends dad died the first time he took it on I94, it got awy from him, he rolled, he died.

Wow, that's a tragedy. Yes, you have to be really careful when you tow anything. It changes the dynamics of the vehicle. I think a good rule of thumb is to make sure that your tow vehicle is much heavier than what you're towing and that you do not tow more than 80 percent of the maximum towing weight. In my case, my Subaru weighs close to 4,000 pounds with all of my gear and I'm pulling a trailer that weighs only 900 pounds. Plus, the Outback is rated to pull 2,700 pounds, so, I'm only using 33 percent of vehicle's towing capacity to pull my trailer. Balancing the load when towing is essential as stated above. And finally, when towing, you need to keep your speed down to a safe level and be especially careful in high winds.
