I just replaced the trans in my 96 Silverado along with neutral safety switch and shift cable, and today it won't even click when trying to start...any ideas oh and I replaced the starter today.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just replaced the trans and put a new neutral safety switch on it and then a new shifter cable, and after a test drive yesterday I parked it, and then today when I went out to start it, it wouldn't do anything, not even a click like a dead battery, I did a little checking and me and a buddy decided the starter was bad so I replaced it and still nothing, I can hear the fuse block under the hood making a little sound when key is engaged but that's all, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Check the neutral cut off switch. Will it start in neutral?
