MY S10 PICKUP TRUCK WONT START.ITHAS BEEN RUNNING FINE,I WENT TO WALMART.GOT IN TO LEAVE AND IT WONT START,IT DID TU
Since the gas gauge has been irratic I'd suspect the fuel pump. Spray some starting fluid down the throttle body. It should run a few seconds on the starting fluid. If so, it's a fuel problem. Try hitting the bottom center of the gas tank a few times with a hammer. If that gets you going it's definitely the fuel pump and should be replaced. HTH. -Jim
