Are you trying to use a new or different key? If so, this new key must be a transponder key and programmed to the car for it to work. HTH. -Jim

no it just coming on and staying on

can my motor mount cause it to do that and my turn signal switch cause it

The receiver for the transponder key is in the steering column in close proximity to the turn signal switch. So I'd suspect something is amiss in the steering column. HTH. -Jim
