i have a 2004 chevy cavalier it has no visible oil leaks but under stress it spits out oil from the oil filter. and there is oil in the air induction system. where could this oil be coming from?
Could be a blocked PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) valve or PCV hose. Could also be a misrouted or damaged PCV hose. I'd change the oil and filter as well. When installing your new oil filter lube the gasket with engine oil and only tighten it hand tight. Do not use a wrench or you'll crush the gasket and it will leak. HTH. - Jim
