I HAVE A 2003 CAVALIER AND IT GOES IN 1ST AND 2ND WITH REVERSE THERES NO 3,4 OR 5TH ANY SUGGESTIONS?

What happen! See if your local AAA transmission shop will pick it up and have them diagnosis for you. Call them first and see how much they charge to do that most places charge about 100 bucks some less.It sounds like you need to have the tranny rebuild or go down to your nearest salvage yard and see if you can get a used tranny from the same year, make model. Make sure they offer a minimum of 90 days warranty.

Sounds like a linkage problem. Check to ensure your cables are working at the shifter and also at the transmission.
